Effective Date: May 20, 2026
Last Updated: May 20, 2026
Version: 1.0

GT Car Life LLC ("GT Car Life," "we," "us") respects the rights of intellectual-property owners, the privacy of our members, the integrity of payment systems, and the safety of the automotive community we serve. This Takedown Policy explains how to report content, listings, or accounts that you believe violate the law, our policies, or the policies of the Lyncspot ecosystem and our payment partner Stripe — and how we evaluate and act on those reports.

GT Car Life operates on the Lyncspot ecosystem as a Licensee, and this Policy works in coordination with Lyncspot's ecosystem-wide takedown framework. This Policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1. Scope & Authority

This Policy governs the removal, disabling, or restriction of (a) user-generated content on the GT Car Life platform; (b) marketplace listings (parts, vehicles, services, classes, memorabilia, digital goods); (c) event listings; and (d) member, Vendor, and partner accounts. GT Car Life is the operator of this branded community and the first line of moderation. The underlying ecosystem is operated by Lyncspot LLC, which retains parallel authority to act where required by law, Stripe policy, or its own ecosystem rules.

2. Grounds for Takedown

We may remove or disable content, listings, or accounts that:

This is especially relevant in our community for copyrighted photography (race photography, manufacturer press images), video footage (track days, driving experiences), editorial content, technical documentation (factory service manuals), and original artwork.

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). A valid counter-notice must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.

Submit counter-notices to dmca@gtcarlife.com. Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action seeking to restrain the activity within 10–14 business days, we may restore the content.

5. Trademark Complaints

GT Car Life is a community built around brands — manufacturers, models, racing teams, parts makers, and tuners. Reasonable, non-misleading mention and review of brands is part of authentic community discussion. However, bad-faith use, counterfeit goods, and confusing source identification are not permitted.

To report trademark misuse, submit a notice to trademark@gtcarlife.com including:

We evaluate trademark complaints in light of nominative-fair-use principles, the realities of automotive community discussion, and the specific marketplace context.

6. Counterfeit Parts & OEM IP

Counterfeit parts — including knockoff badges, replica wheels misrepresented as genuine, fake performance parts, and unauthorized OEM-branded accessories — are strictly prohibited on the GT Car Life marketplace. Beyond brand harm, counterfeit safety components can cause serious injury or death.

OEMs, authorized distributors, and brand-protection agents may submit counterfeit reports to counterfeit@gtcarlife.com including:

We may remove the listing, suspend the seller's Vendor status, freeze associated payouts, refer the seller to Lyncspot for ecosystem-wide enforcement, and refer repeat or serious offenders to Stripe and law enforcement.

7. Stolen Vehicles, Tampered VINs & Title Fraud

Vehicle listings on GT Car Life must be lawful, accurately described, and supported by clear title. We will remove listings and may refer matters to law enforcement where there is credible evidence of:

To report a suspect vehicle listing, contact vehiclereports@gtcarlife.com with the listing URL, the VIN if known, and any supporting documentation (NICB reports, title histories, prior listings, photographs of the original VIN plate).

We remove listings for parts and services that endanger safety or violate applicable regulation, including:

9. Stripe-Prohibited & High-Risk Content
